In spite of its rich educational heritage, the college does not intend to sit on the past laurels. Keeping in view the ever-increasing academic demands and the soaring academic level achieved by institutions the world over;

 

  • The college has 1090 (Hons. -908 and General -182)seats at the start of the academic session for the new entrants.
  • 22% of the seats are reserved for SC candidates and 6% for ST candidates.
  • The college is gradually increasing the number of seats for OBC candidates to reach the ceiling of 17% (OBC- A -10% and OBC - B 7%) as directed by the State Government.
